Description:
The students will practice COMMITMENT by demonstrating their ability to teach and learn a new form. This will challenge the students mentally by requiring them to learn a new for but also if they are the instructor it will test their ability to teach something new.
Step 1
Divide your students into groups.
Step 2 – Setting Up the Drill:
For each group, you will need an instructor.
Step 3 – Explain the Rules:
The instructor will choose one student to teach their group a brand new 5-10 move form.
The students who are learning the form must show COMMITMENT by trying their best to learn the form even if it’s too easy or even to hard.
The student who is leading must not give up and must finish completing the form.
The team with the best form at the end of 5 minutes will be the winner.
Step 4 – Takeaways:
Have a good voice make sure you are loud and quiet.
Look at as many people as you can.
Do your best to go slow so you can teach better.
Step 5
Continue so that each student has at least 2 turns.
