Jump Kicks
Equipment needed:
One clapper pad for each student and their guardian
Instructors needed:

Description:
Students will work on their JUMPING by jumping and trying to kick a pad.
Step 1
Give each guardian clapper pad.
Step 2 – Setting Up the Drill:
Then have them spread out around the mat with their students.
Step 3 – Explain the Rules:
When the guardian says go the student will try to jump up and kick the clapper pad.
Guardians shouldn’t hold the clapper pad too high to where students are not able to kick the pad.
Guardians will give the students 5 turns to kick the pad.
Step 4 – Takeaways:
Count loud so your student knows exactly when to go.
Challenge your students. If where you are holding the target is too easy raise it up a little higher.
Cheer for them when they are able to jump and kick the pad.
Step 5
Continue so each student has a chance to kick five times.
