4 Corners:

The students will practice ROLLING by demonstrating their ability to use their hand-eye coordination to be able knock down different colored cones that are placed in a square around them.
  • Teaching SKILLZ: TRICKERY – The instructor can call out colors of cones that are not there, or things that are not colors at all, to trick the students.
  • Brain SKILLZ: AUDITORY PROCESSING – The student must be able to hear the color that is being called, and go to the appropriate cone.

Don’t Get Squished:

Students will practice having good ROLLING by demonstrating their ability to roll away from the instructor as the instructor is trying to squish them with the pads.
  • Teaching SKILLZ: NEUROBICS – When the student grabs the pad, the instructor will ask them to name one superhero that they like.
  • Brain SKILLZ: RESPONSE INHIBITION – The student must be able to properly do a pencil roll to grab the pad, without being silly or getting distracted by the instructor trying to squish them.
