Drill: Active Core Exercise: Full Windmill
Equipment needed: None
Instructors needed: A Few to Monitor
Description: The students will build their core strength by performing a full windmill with their body straight.
Step 1
  • Have your students start in the straight leg bridge position, holding their belts as high as possible.
Step 2 – Explain the Rules:
  • When I say, “go” you will raise one hand all the way to the sky, then completely over into push-up position.
  • Then to complete the rep, return the way you came until you are back into bridge position.
  • Repeat 10-15 reps, alternating directions.
Step 3
  • Continue for two rounds. .
