Drill: Active Arm Exercise: Push-UP w/ Extended Leg
Equipment needed: None
Instructors needed: A Few to Monitor
Description: The students will build arm strength by performing push-ups with an unstable base.
Step 1
  • Have your students hold their body up in a push-up position with one foot off the ground.
Step 2 – Explain the Rules:
  • When I say, “go” you will perform your best push-up
  • Do not let your body drop or raise your hips into the air.
  • Do not drop your leg.
  • Perform 10-15 reps.
Step 3
  • Continue for two sets, alternate legs each set. .
