Description:
The students will practice having good RHYTHM by learning to counter the forward push of an aggressive opponent and flipping them onto their back.
Step 1
Divide your students into lines.
Step 2 – Explain the rules:
The first person will go to the middle of the mat.
The next person will run to them when the instructor says “go”.
They will go to grappling position and charge forward.
Their partner will then hook the inside of the knee with their foot, lay back, and lift their leg up and over, with the opponent ending up on their back.
They can then stand up and high five the next person in line who can then repeat this process.
The first line to finish will be the winner.
Step 3 – Takeaways
Do your best to always maintain a good grip on your partner.
