Drill: Spot the Posture
Equipment needed: None
Instructors needed: Multiple to monitor
Description: The students will practice having good CONFIDENCE by demonstrating their ability to correct students in class not just allowing sloppy technique to get by. This will challenge them mentally and socially by having them go around and correct technique confidently.
Step 1
Divide your students into groups
Step 2 – Setting Up the Drill:
The 1st student in the group will come and pick an exercise.
Step 3 – Explain the Rules:
  • They will do ten reps on the exercise, as the 1st student count they want to be walking around.
  • If they see someone’s posture is off during an exercise they will go correct it.
  • They want to do their best to mess up the count.
Step 4 – Takeaways:
  • Move around never stand still.
  • Be loud as you lead the exercise.
  • Keep the flow don’t lose count as you correct someone’s posture.
