Drill: Motivate Me
Equipment needed: None
Instructors needed: Multiple to monitor
Description: The students will practice having good CONFIDENCE by demonstrating their ability to motivate their teammates by being loud and enthusiastic. This will challenge them socially by requiring them to be happy and enthusiastic which can be difficult for some students.
Step 1
Divide your students into groups
Step 2 – Setting Up the Drill:
The 1st student in the group will become the instructor.
Step 3 – Explain the Rules:
  • The leader will give his team an exercise which they will be responsible for doing for 1 minute.
  • The goal of the new leader is to keep their team motivated and in it to win it the entire time.
  • If someone gives up during the minute then the instructor has to do 10 push-ups.
Step 4 – Takeaways:
  • Be loud so that you can spread the energy to everyone.
  • Be confident in yourself even if it’s hard to come out of your shell.
  • Don’t forget to touch your team to give them extra boosts.
Step 5
  • Continue until each student has 2 turns.
