Drill: Dolphin Dive
Equipment needed: 1 Wavemaster bag per line
Instructors needed: A few to monitor
Description: The students will practice their GRACEFULNESS in their footwork and rolls by running and diving over rolling targets.
Step 1
  • Divide your class into lines.  
Step 2
  • Have each instructor at the opposite end of the mat with a Wavemaster bag.

Step 3 – Explain the rules:
  • The instructor will roll the bag straight at the first student in line.
  • Then the student will run and dive roll over the bag.
  • Stand as quickly as your can in your guarding stance.
  • Then run to the end of the line and the next student will roll the bag back and then get their turn to go.
Step 4 – Takeaways
  • Make sure to use your hands slowing your momentum.
  • Don’t make a lot of noise while rolling.
  • Push the bag as straight as you can towards the students.
Step 4
  • Continue until everyone goes 2-3 rounds.
