Fun Games: 4 Corners
Equipment needed:
One chair, blind fold, 1-4 numbered circles, and 4 wave master cushions
Instructors needed:
One
Description:
The students will run to a corner and the counter will try and guess which corner the students are in.
Step 1 – Setting Up the Drill:
Set up a target in each corner of the mat (4 corners).
Assign each corner a number 1-4.
Have 1 instructor per line to be the attacker.
Step 2 – Explain the Rules:
The student will place the blindfold over his or her eyes and count to 10.
You will QUIETLY run to a corner.
Once the counter reaches the number 10, he or she will call out a corner: 1, 2, 3, or 4.
All of the students in that corner are out and must sit against the wall.
Continue until only one student is left.
Step 3 – Additional Rules
When there are only 4 students left, instruct them to each pick a different corner.
If the counter calls out an empty, then he or she gets a strike.
If the counter gets 3 strikes then he or she is done counting and one of the students left in the game gets to be the new counter.
