Instructors needed: Multiple to monitor
Description: The students will practice having good COMMUNICATION by demonstrating their ability to use only their words to explain a martial arts kick, they have to be very detailed because if their partner does not guess the kick right then the person who explained has an exercise.
Step 1
Divide your students into groups
Step 2 – Setting Up the Drill:
The 1st student in line will come and face the person behind them.
Step 3 – Explain the Rules:
  • They will then break down a kick into different parts, the better they can describe the move the better chance their teammate has of guessing correct.
  • The person explain is not allowed not give away the name of the move.
Step 4 – Takeaways:
  • Try your best even if it’s hard
  • Go through each part of the kick.
  • Go fast to show better knowledge
Step 5
  • Continue until each student has 2-3 turns.
