Drill: Ultimate Arm Exercise: Advanced Army Crawls Down the Mat
Equipment needed: None
Instructors needed: Several to monitor
Description: The students will build arm strength by dragging their body down the mat using only their forearms while their feet are crossed and held off the ground.
Step 1
  • Have your students lay on their bellies on one end of the mat, with their forearms on the floor making a tight fist, and feet crossed and lifted off the ground.
Step 2 -Explain the rules:
  • When I say “go” you will drag your body across the mat using your forearms, while keeping your feet crossed and off the mat.
  • You will do this all the way down the mat.
Step 3
  • Do your best to go fast and not use your knees!
