Drill: Static Core Exercise: Hold Half Windmill
Equipment needed: None
Instructors needed: A Few to Monitor
Description: The students will build their core strength by holding their body straight in half windmill position.
Step 1
  • Have your students assume the straight leg bridge position.
Step 2 – Explain the Rules:
  • When I say, “go” you will raise your hand up and point your fingers to the sky.
  • Make sure your body is straight and only on foot has contact with the floor.
  • Hold for 10-30 seconds.
  • Return to Bridge position, then repeat on the other side
Step 3
  • Continue for 3 reps on each side.
