Static Leg Exerise: Hold Half Lunge

Description:
The students will build their leg strength by holding their body in a half lunge position.
Step 1
Have your students stand in lines facing the front of the room. Grasp hands together in front of the chest.
Step 2 – Explain the Rules:
When I say, “go” you will step forward with one leg.
Drop your knee so that it is 1 inch from the ground and hold.
Hold for 10-30 seconds.
Then, return to standing position and step forward with the opposite leg and repeat.
Step 3
Continue for 3 reps on each side.
