Drill: Basics Circle
Equipment needed: None
Instructors needed: 1 per Line
Description: The students will practice having good EXPLANATION by demonstrating their ability to explain what move the person before them did plus they must explain a move that they want to do.
Step 1
Divide your students into lines
Step 2 – Setting Up the Drill:
The students win each circle will join hands together so that they have someone next to them.
Step 3 – Explain the Rules:
  • One student will start by doing a move and explaining how to do it.
  • The person on their left will watch the move they do; they must say that move plus they must add their own move.
  • Students want to explain the moves so that their peers know how to do it.
Step 4 – Takeaways:
  • Be as loud as you can when you say the move
  • Be quick with the moves you do
  • Look good on each move
Step 5
  • Continue until each student has 2-3 turns.
