Give a quick review of how to kick: Hold your hands up, pick your foot off the ground and snap it out and back in, and bend your knee as much as you can on the snap.
Step 3 – Explain the Rules:
  • When they see the pad they have to kick it, but when the guardians open their arms they have to hug them.
  • Halfway through, switch roles.
Step 4 – Takeaways:
  • Cheer when they hit the pad, and when they hug you.
  • Don’t give praise if they hit you.
  • Keep them moving and having fun.
