Drill: Dynamic Stretching: Airplanes
Equipment needed: None
Instructors needed: Several to monitor
Description: The students will practice their DYNAMIC stretching focusing on their hips by performing a basic butterfly stretch.
Step 1
  • Divide your students into lines.
Step 2 -Explain the rules:
  • Sit down with your knees bent and feet in.
  • Touch the bottom of your feet together and hold your toes.
  • You will then alternate your knees up and down.
  • You can also lean forward holding the stretch down low.
Step 3
  • Continue for two sets.
