Description:
The students will practice having good RETENTION by demonstrating their ability to quickly remember what the answer to a question is to help their team win. This will challenge the students mentally by requiring them to think quickly while under pressure.
Step 1
Have students form lines.
Step 2 – Setting Up the Drill:
The 1st student in each line will be standing across from each other.
Step 3 – Explain the Rules:
The bag will be in between them with the target on top.
When the instructor asks, a question concerning the 7 Steps to Teaching a drill the students will quickly try to be the first to hit the target.
Whichever student hit the target first will get to answer the question, if they answer correctly they will earn one point for their team.
If they answer incorrectly then the opposing player gets a chance to answer and steal the point.
After 2 rotations through the lines the team with the most points wins.
Step 4 – Takeaways:
Hands behind your back try not to cheat and move your hands early.
Be fast so that you can get the first chance to answer the question.
Think about your answer to make sure you get the point.
