Description:
The students will practice having good INSPIRATION by demonstrating their ability to use spotlighting while they run an exercise by stopping the exercise and picking out one student that is doing something great. This will challenge them socially by requiring them to have to lead their peers while staying focused.
Step 1
Divide your students into groups
Step 2 – Setting Up the Drill:
The 1st student each group will be the leader of the first exercise, that person gets to choose whatever exercise they want.
Step 3 – Explain the Rules:
The leader of the group will choose the amount of reps under 10.
As the student leads at some point the leader must stop and point out one person.
They must also say what the student did well and then challenge the other students to work harder than the spotlighted one.
After they spotlight the student then they finish the exercise.
Step 4 – Takeaways:
Be loud so that you can spread the energy.
Be confident as you lead the exercise.
Make sure that you stop everyone so you can inspire them.
