Description:
The students will practice INSPIRATION by demonstrating their ability to use intrinsic motivation. This will challenge the students mentally and socially because it can be hard to think of way to motivate each other and being on the spot in front of your peers can make it tougher.
Step 1
Divide your students into groups
Step 2 – Setting Up the Drill:
For each group, you will need an Instructor.
Step 3 – Explain the Rules:
The instructor will choose one of student from the group to lead the 1st exercise.
The student must make their teammates want to more reps than the base rep of 5.
The goal of this game is for the students to learn how to use intrinsic motivation so that everyone is doing 20 reps.
Once that student is done leading the instructor will pick someone new to lead.
Step 4 – Takeaways:
Have a loud voice.
Be energetic as you lead the exercise.
Be creative with how you use intrinsic motivation.
Step 5
Continue so that each student has at least 2 turns.
