Drill: Bring It
Equipment needed: NONE
Instructors needed: Multiple to Monitor
Description: The students will practice having good INSPIRATION by demonstrating their ability to use intrinsic motivation to try and inspire their teammates to try harder. This will challenge them socially by requiring them to work with their peers while trying to maintain focus and not getting off topic.
Step 1
Divide your students into groups
Step 2 – Setting Up the Drill:
The 1st student in each group will choose 1 exercise for the rest of the group.
Step 3 – Explain the Rules:
  • The student will then give them one set amount of reps for the exercise.
  • The students must then use intrinsic motivation to increase the reps that the students will try to do.
  • Once the first student is done then they get to pick the next person to run a game.
Step 4 – Takeaways:
  • Be loud as you lead the exercise.
  • Be mobile so that you spread the energy.
  • Give good tools so that your students want to try harder.
