Drill: Give It To Me
Equipment needed: NONE
Instructors needed: Multiple to Monitor
Description: The students will practice having good INSPIRATION by demonstrating their ability to use extrinsic motivation as they lead an exercise. This will challenge them socially by requiring them to work with their peers and stay focused and disciplined at the same time.
Step 1
Divide your students into groups
Step 2 – Setting Up the Drill:
The instructor will choose 1 person to be the leader of the group.
Step 3 – Explain the Rules:
  • The leader of the group will choose an exercise and a rep amount under 10.
  • But before the exercise starts the leader will use extrinsic motivation to challenge the students to do something stronger.
  • If the students meet the challenge, then the leader must give them a reward.
  • After the 1st person goes the instructor may pick another student.
Step 4 – Takeaways:
  • Lead the exercise loud.
  • Be confident as you lead the exercise.
  • Have a good flow with your words.
Step 5
  • Continue until each student has 2-3 turns.
