Description:
The students will practice having good AWARENESS by demonstrating their ability to understand spatial awareness by hitting pads that are thrown at different levels with their hands and feet.
Step 1
Divide your students into lines
Step 2 – Setting Up the Drill:
The 1st student in each line will stand up and face the instructor.
Step 3 – Explain the Rules:
The instructor will have a small square pad in their hands.
They will either call out “high” and throw the pad in front of the student at about chest level.
Or the instructor will say “low” and throw a pad a knee level.
The student must punch the pad if high is call or front kick if low is called.
If the student likes a challenge, try not prompting them on where the pad is being thrown.
