Step 1
Divide your class into even lines with no more than six students per line. For each line you will need an instructor holding a foam sword.
Step 2 – Setting Up the Drill:
1 – Left head block 2 – Right head block 3 – Left rib block 4 – Right rib block
Step 3 – Explain the Rules:
The instructor will call out random blocking zones.
You will try and block before the instructor hits you in that zone.
At the end of the drill you have to do three push-ups for each time you got hit.
Step 4 – Takeaways:
build the courage to get hit as they learn how to block properly.
Step 5
Continue until each person in line has at least three turns.
